YarnCon 2008

I went to YarnCon.  And it was fantastic, except for the atm eating my cousin’s debit card and me dropping $28 worth of yarn somewhere.  But overall, it was pretty fantastic.

I bought a wee bit of yarn.  A bit of banana silk…

and a bit of merino…

I was looking for alternative fibers, but it seemed to be lacking with the midwestern ladies who raise their own sheep. I guess inego (corn fiber) just hasn’t caught on yet in corn country.

I can’t wait to finish my scarf so that I can knit with some of this stuff!

Ahahaha, so I totally forgot about the ATM (minor) fiasco until I read this just now…but I guess that’s a good thing because that means no one got a hold of my account.
