The College of DuPage PCMA is planning a golf outing to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma society in July 2009. They were looking for a logo that represented the event as well as the cause they are supporting.

The logo is a golfer with a ribbon for legs, and is in the color of the leukemia ribbon. I used Quicksand and Gentium as the fonts in the logo.

Created in Illustrator CS4.

For Portfolio Night 2009 at College of DuPage, I created a typography based event logo that was a visual representation of a portfolio and night (a crescent moon handle, moon0shaped Os, type in a rectangle).

The logo was created using two weights of Futura and some custom letters.

Created in Illustrator CS4.

The envelopes, business cards and letterhead are all printed full bleed with a luster finish to the grey to make it look more steely and sophisticated. The client loved the rich feeling of the identity system.

The client, an established therapist with 20 years of experience, was looking for a new business card and identity that could be used in advertising, on business cards and print collateral as well as a possible future web site. She had been using the same business card design for nearly her entire career, and was looking for a fresh look.

She tries to focus on making her patients’ lives whole again, which is what the symbol represents.

Created in Illustrator CS4 and InDesign CS3.

ADOPT, a no-kill non-profit animal shelter in Naperville, IL was in need of an update of its logo and printed collateral. The old logo was handdrawn and dated. The object of the project was to showcase animals that were happy and healthy and project a loving and free environment.

The logo depicts both a dog and cat (the types of animals that they rescue) and uses the colors orange and green to represent fun and health.

The clean layot of the business card gives a professional look without being over-done, or overly modern.
