This grouping is actually a campaign for Hallmark. The ads try to capture the magic and emotion of sending and receiving cards and pair it with childhood whimsy.

The evolution of this project was a bit rocky. I was infatuated with my the design concept that I chose to see through to completion, only to have the project shot down by the instructor. These were additional pen and ink drawings that I recreated in Illustrator for a more finished look. They were for an assignment in abstraction. Just simple fun drawings.

This started out as a pen and ink drawing, completed while i was recovering from the accident. I took the concept and played around with the form in Illustrator until the proportions and colors were just right.
